“As you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many." (2 Corinthians 1:11)

We must realize that all of the pressures we face in our environments are continuous calls to us to spend more time with the Lord.

Even our fleshly disposition with its negative reactions, lusts, and moods is another call and a sign that we need to withdraw and pray. We must see that the practice of withdrawing to pray and spend time with the Lord should increasingly become a normal part of our Christian life. This is how He expressed God. And this is the life that is now within us.

“너희도 우리를 위하여 간구함으로 도우라 이는 우리가 많은 사람의 기도로 얻은 은사를 인하여 많은 사람도 우리를 위하여 감사하게 하려 함이라” (고후 1:11)

우리의 환경에서 우리가 직면하는 모든 문제들이 우리로 하여금 더욱 주님과 함께 많은 시간을 보낼 것을 계속 요구하고 있다는 것을 알아야 합니다.

우리들의 육적인 기질의 부정적인 반응들, 강한 욕망들, 그리고 분위기들은 우리들이 물러나 기도해야 한다는 부름과 신호입니다. 우리가 주님과 함께 시간을 보내고 기도하기 위해 물러서는 실천이 더욱 더 믿는 사람들의 생활의 일반적인 부분이 되게 하여야 합니다. 이것이 그분이 하나님을 표현하는 방법입니다. 그리고, 이것이 지금 우리 안에 함께 하는 삶입니다.
