One day she said to him, “Let's go to bed with me."But he refused and said to her, “My master trusts me with everything in his house.He has put me in charge of everything he has.
“There is no one in his house greater than I. The only thing he hasn't given me is you.
And that is because you are his wife. It is a sin against God. I won't sin against God by doing such an evil thing.” 요셉은 잘 생기고 건장한 청년이었고, 요셉의 주인의 아내는 곧 그를 주목하였습니다.어느 날 그녀는 요셉에게 함께 잠자리를 하자고 하였습니다.
그러나 요셉은 거절하며 말했습니다. “나의 주인이 집에 모든 것을 맡기고 나를 믿습니다. 집안에 나보다 더 높은 지위의 사람은 없습니다. 나에게 주지 않은 유일한 것이 있으니 그것이 바로 당신입니다.당신과 동침하는 것은 하나님께 죄를 짓는 일입니다.
